Rajshahi attains 81.60 pc pass in HSC exams

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Rajshahi has attained 81.60 percent pass in its examination of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC).

A total of 21,855 students got GPA-5 and the girls became advanced compared to the boys in terms of both pass-percentage and GPA-5 in the result.

Controller of Examination of the board Professor Ariful Islam published the result through a notification here today.

He said a total of 1,26,700 students appeared for the examinations and 1,03,385 of them came out successful showing a 81.60 percent pass and figuring 21,855 GPA-5.

Prof Islam also said pass percentage of girls is 85.89 against 77.77 percent among boys. Besides, 11,957 girls obtained GPA-5, while 9,898 boys got GPA-5.

He said the students appeared in the examinations from 751 colleges in eight districts under the board. Of them, 31 colleges attained a hundred percent pass, while none came out successful from nine colleges.
